Day 197
Merry Christmas!
Santa brought Will a Little People Zoo. Laurel had a similar one when she was little, except hers didn't make noise and you could choke on the people.

Will and Emma play with their loot.

Will thinks about how he can put the bow in his mouth.

Opening a present with Dad.

Playing with the ball Uncle Jonathan gave Will.

It's supposed to make tummy time more fun, and it worked for awhile, but he prefers to play with it sitting up. Uncle Jonathan also gave Will a set of Richard Scarry books, and they read a few together.

Will was a little scared of the Yule Log in HD.

Grandma Gail and Grandpa Bill stopped by for a little while after they got back from San Diego, but we didn't get any pictures of that...and then later we ate dinner at Grandma Diane's house, but we forgot the camera down at Jonathan's house.

Day 196
Today was Christmas Eve! We went to the airport...

Then we went to Grandma Diane's house. Grandma Diane always gave her kids one present on Christmas Eve when they were growing up, so she did the same with Will and Emma this year.

This looks festive...and delicious...

Oh look, there's something under the delicious paper!

A BOOK! About how the Huskies are awesome at football and the Cougars suck! Well, maybe at some point that will be true again.

Day 195
This is a good book Grandma, but I think it would be a better book if I could chew on it.

NO GRANDPA! I DON'T WANT TO WALK!

Day 194
Grandma Gail and Grandpa Bill made an unexpected stop in San Diego on their way back from Hawaii, thanks to some inclement weather in Seattle. Will took advantage of their visit by making Grandpa read to him.

Also, our pediatrician suggested that we sometimes let Will try to feed himself so he can develop...the skills to...feed himself...or something. Anyway, the pediatrician suggested it, and some hilarious pictures came from her suggestion.

He had some trouble figuring out how to get to the food inside the bowl. Laurel helped him out some, after Will became troubled by not being able to get all the food in his mouth.

Day 193
Will was a little scared of his jumper when he first got it, but he likes it quite a bit now.

He also likes his dad quite a bit.

Day 192
It's bedtime Mom. I understand that you're doing this blog and everything, but I'd really just like to eat and go to sleep now.
P.S. Laurel has been having some issues with Flickr's uploader, so her very large batch of new pictures is taking forever to get online. As a result, we are running a little behind on blog posts. Hopefully we'll be able to catch up over the weekend.
