Day 205

Lorne went on a weekend trip and left tonight, so Laurel and Will are hanging out all alone this weekend. Here are some pictures of Will when he was very happy, not like at 1 in the morning, when he was very unhappy. He's wearing the Mickey ears that Laurel's other internet Secret Santa sent for Will. Yes. She had two internet Secret Santas. SOUND THE NERD ALARM! WEEEOOOOWEEEOOOWEEEOOOO

We got this blow up rolly toy thing for Will for Christmas. I think it's supposed to encourage movement while he's having tummy time, so he wants to crawl or something. He still hates tummy time and would much rather play with this while sitting up.

The only thing he's interested in maybe trying to crawl to get to is Laurel's cell phone...but I didn't take a picture of that.

Day 204

Happy New Year! We came back to San Diego today. Back to boring old Mom and Dad. At least there are new toys to play with.

Day 203

Happy New Year's Eve! Will loves Aunt Margie. It's pretty adorable.

Day 202

We rode the ferry back to the mainland today.

Then Maryanne met Will for the first time.

Day 201

Lorne and Laurel took advantage of Grandma and Grandpa's babysitting service and had dinner with Alison and Daniel, sans Will. To keep Will entertained, Grandma Gail played her autoharp for him.

What's that Grandma?

It's kind of mesmerizing.

I kind of want to grab it and chew on it.

GRANDMA'S MUSIC IS SHOCKING!!!!!

Day 200

Laurel took advantage of friends and family and slept in today. Will hung out with Kat for a little bit.

Then he got hungry, so Alison brought him back for second breakfast.

Then we had Christmas morning, part 2.

We talked via Skype with Uncle Nate, Aunt Miranda, and cousin Zayley, and they watched us open our presents from them. They gave Will this jaunty hat. Sometimes Laurel makes him wear it when they're just playing at home. That's how much she loves it.

Come on, you'd make him wear it too.

Day 199

We went over to Grandma Gail and Grandpa Bill's house today for Christmas, part 2.

Alison took a later ferry over and joined us for the night. Will was happy to see her again.

Alison took a picture of everyone at dinner.

Will had a feast of butternut squash.

Then he had a piggyback ride from his dad.
